Filmed on the occasion of Xiling Yinshe’s 2025 Spring Auction, this short film profiles ZHANG Enli (b. 1965, Jilin), a Shanghai-based artist whose work focuses on how vessels hold traces of use, memory and time. Composed through sustained observation, the film attends to the artist’s workspace as a vessel of its own, moving between the interior landscape and the blur of memory, lingering on emptiness and the spaces on his canvas, and meditating on absence and presence.
